Drawday Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Drawday is a daily card and trivia game made by Fein Interactive (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data the Drawday iOS app collects, why and how we use it, and the rights you have over it. Fein Interactive is the controller of your personal data.
In short
- We show no ads and share nothing with ad networks.
- We use no analytics or tracking tools, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't sell your data.
- You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.
1. Data we collect
Account
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address, your name (if shared) and the account identifier the provider gives us. If you use Apple's “Hide My Email”, we receive the relay address Apple creates. We never see your Google or Apple password.
Profile
Your display name, username, avatar choices (character, skin tone, color, frame, figure), question language and your device's time zone name (e.g. “Europe/Istanbul”). We use the time zone so the day's card opens on your day; we don't collect your location.
Gameplay
The games and rounds you play, your answers and answer times, your points, streak, XP and levels, and the characters and frames you unlock. Times are measured on our server so scoring is fair.
Social
Friend requests you send and receive, your friends, the groups you create or join (including group names and colors), party rooms, and party invites you send or receive.
Technical logs
When the app connects to our servers, our infrastructure provider briefly keeps standard server logs such as IP address and request time, for security and troubleshooting.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, advertising identifier (IDFA) or payment details.
2. Why we use your data
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Creating your account and signing you in | Account | Performing our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5/2-c) |
| Running the game, checking answers, scoring | Profile, gameplay | Performing the contract |
| Leaderboards, friends, groups and parties | Profile, gameplay, social | Performing the contract |
| Security and preventing cheating and abuse | Gameplay, technical logs | Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5/2-f) |
| Meeting legal obligations | As required | Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c); KVKK Art. 5/2-ç) |
We don't use your data for automated decisions or profiling that affect you.
3. What other players can see
Drawday is a social game. Your display name, username, avatar and frame; your points and rank on leaderboards; your streak; and your scores within groups and parties are visible to other players. Global leaderboards are visible to everyone in the app. Your email address is never shown to other players.
4. Service providers and sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Drawday, and only as much as they need:
- Supabase: database, authentication and server infrastructure. Data is stored on servers in the European Union (Ireland).
- Google: Sign in with Google.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple. Song rounds also load 30-second previews straight from Apple's iTunes service to your device; Apple sees your device's IP address and store region when this happens.
- Wikimedia Commons: photos in picture rounds load straight from Wikimedia to your device; Wikimedia sees your device's IP address when this happens.
These providers are bound by their own privacy policies. Beyond them, we don't share your data with third parties unless the law requires it (for example, a request from a competent authority).
International transfers: your data is stored outside Turkey, on servers in the European Union. We make this transfer with the safeguards required by Article 9 of the KVKK and by the GDPR.
5. Notifications
The daily reminder is optional and scheduled entirely on your device. We don't collect a notification token for it; you can turn it off in the app's settings or in iOS Settings.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. Deleting it permanently removes your profile, games, points, friendships, group memberships and invites; groups you created are closed for their other members. Deleted data also leaves our server backups within a short period. Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short time.
If you can't reach the app, send your deletion request to the email address below.
7. Children
Drawday is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If we learn of such an account, we delete it, or remove it at a parent's request.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR (if you are in Europe) and Article 11 of Turkey's KVKK, you have the right to:
- know whether your data is processed and ask for information about it,
- access your data and get a copy of it (portability),
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected,
- have your data deleted,
- object to or restrict processing,
- seek compensation for unlawful processing,
- complain to Turkey's Personal Data Protection Authority or to the data protection authority where you live.
You can edit your profile and delete your account in the app. For anything else, email us; we reply within 30 days.
9. Security
Your data travels over encrypted connections (TLS) and is protected by access rules that let each player reach only the data they are allowed to. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date above, and we announce significant changes in the app.
